The tri-axial tourbillon is a complication that sets two additional carriages into motion around the tourbillon along three different perpendicular axes. The first carriage is driven by a twin-barrel movement via the minute wheel and completes one full rotation per hour. The second is driven by the first and completes a rotation in eight minutes, while the tourbillon, containing the escapement and the balance, takes just 60 seconds to spin once around. This model is also equipped with a perpetual calendar offering date, day of the week, month, 24-hour, 4-year and moon-phase displays.Watch type: Complicated Mechanical
