To indicate day and night clearly, architect and designer John C. Ermel has devised a procedure based on “Pascal’s spiral” that enables the hour hands to move over a conchoidal circle. This extremely classical model in terms of shapes and materials combines the understated elegance of steel with a blue strap. The self-winding movement is chronometer-certified by the COSC.
